Creating Your First Product
Getting your first design onto a product takes just a few minutes with the MerchPanda online designer. Here’s how it works.
1. Add your design
Upload your own artwork (a transparent PNG works best) or create something from scratch using the text and image tools built into the designer.
2. Check the print quality
The designer shows a live quality indicator — aim for the “Good” rating, which means your artwork is at least 300 DPI at the size you’ve set it. If it flags low quality, swap in a higher-resolution file (see our Design Guidelines).
3. Position your design
Drag to move, use the corner handles to scale, and the alignment guides to centre it. Click the print-area measurement in the top-left of the canvas to see the exact print size in centimetres.
4. Choose a colour & preview
Pick your garment colour, then press the preview (eye) icon to see the finished mockup. Save that mockup image — it’s perfect for your shop listings and social posts.
5. Create the product
Hit Create Product. Your design is saved to your account, ready to order as a sample or publish to your store.
What next?
Once your product is created you can:
- Order a sample to check it in person
- Edit the design whenever you like
- Export it straight to your connected store — Shopify, Etsy, WooCommerce, TikTok, Amazon or eBay
